Bartlett Historical Society Speaker
The Bartlett Historical Society is proud to invite the public to hear Bill Tiknis reminisce about his 58 year history in Bartlett. Bill Tiknis says it was luck that brought him and his family to Bartlett in 1956, but it was better luck for the Bartlett community. He has a long and distinguished history of public service including the Volunteer Fire Department, the Village Board, a term as Mayor, co-chair of the Bartlett Centennial Celebration, Bartlett Chamber of Commerce, and the Bartlett Hills Golf Course. To learn how much Bartlett has changed in a relatively short period of time, consider that in 1956 there was no house-to house mail service and the population was around 700.
Admission is free.
