National Night Out Block Party/Lighting Competitions
This National Night Out event encourages every registered neighborhood group to get together and party against crime. The focus of the contests are to get to better know your neighbors and to share in the fun while promoting National Night Out 2009. The block parties will be judged and awarded in the categories of best lighted neighborhood, best overall block party, best participation block party, best themed block party, and best spirited block party. This year the neighborhood lighting competition will be judged in conjunction with the block parties. Lock your doors, turn on your outside lights, and enjoy the events outside with some neighbors, friends, Bartlett Fire Protection District, and Bartlett Police!
Registration is free. Block parties must complete and return the Village of Bartlett Block Party Application & the National Night Out Block Party Competition Registration Form to Officer Anderson of the Bartlett Police Crime Prevention Unit.
