National Night Out Bicycle Rodeo/Bike Ride with the Village President2010-08-03 00:00:00.0
Come participate in the National Night Out 2nd annual Bicycle Rodeo & Obstacle Course sponsored by Spin Doctors Cyclewerks from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM at the Jim Jensen Pavilion parking lot. Show off your bike riding skills and then enjoy a fun-filled bicycle ride with Village President Kelly to the National Night Out Picnic in the Park Celebration at Bartlett Park. Additional pick-up locations will be at the Bartlett Community Center and in front of the Town Center near Railroad and Main Street. Once at Bartlett Park, a secured bicycle corral will be provided by Boy Scout Troop 99. Handouts will also be given out by Spin Doctor Cyclewerks.

17th Annual National Night Out Picnic in the Park2010-08-03 00:00:00.0
Enjoy a special evening with the Village of Bartlett, Bartlett Police Department, Bartlett Park District, Bartlett Public Works, and Bartlett Fire Protection District. This award winning police-community event will include family games, obstacle courses, a soccer skills exhibit, face painting, and special appearances by McGruff the Crime Dog, Chicago Blackhawks Mascot Tommy Hawk, Chicago Wolves Mascot Skates, Chicago Bulls Mascot Benny the Bull, the Division Bicycle Stunt Team, Hyper Dogs, Royal Polynesian Review, and the Jesse White Tumblers. This event will also include free hot dogs, ice cream, beverages, giveaways, area business displays, watermelon eating contests, and public service vehicle displays. At the conclusion of the event, local citizen and business star award winners, as well as, the block party & lighting competition award winners will be announced.

This is a great way to spend time with your children and experience the American pastime of fishing.
The Bartlett Parks Foundation and Bartlett Nature Center present this FREE event with help from our partner, The Fox River Valley Chapter Muskies,Inc., and donated prizes from area businesses and merchants.
Children ages 2-15, accompanied by a parent/guardian, can bring their rod and gear and get hooked on fishing!
Registration begins at 8:15am, fishing starts at 9am and ends at 11am. Awards and raffle prizes will be presented at 11:30am. No pre-registration is required. A pre-derby clinic will be held at 8am to assist new fishermen.

Children and their families are invited to celebrate a century of banking in Bartlett.
Kids will learn about Bartlett's first bank, have a storytime with the Bartlett Public Library District, and decorate their own piggy bank to take home. The program will conclude with a walk to the original 1910 Bartlett State Bank building at 200 W. Bartlett Avenue, today home to Associated Bank. At the bank, the children will enjoy some banking fun and lessons in saving presented by Associated Bank. Refreshments will be served.
The FREE program will be approximately 1 ½ hours long. Space is limited and registration is required; please call 630-837-0800 to reserve your spot.
