NOTICE TO BIDDERS:
Notice is hereby given that The Village of Bartlett, Cook, DuPage and Kane Counties, IL, will receive sealed bids at the main office of the Village of Bartlett, 228 S. Main Street, Bartlett, IL. 60103, until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids will be acted upon at such time and place as can be scheduled for Board action.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The proposed improvement is officially known as the "COUNTRY CREEK LIFT STATION UPGRADE PROJECT." The lift station project consists of, but is not limited to, the following items:

A. Installation of new submersible pump station with controls in the existing generator building and connected into the Village’s SCADA system.
B. Removal/conversion of existing dry pit pump station.
C. By-pass pumping as required to complete the upgrade.
D. Restoration as required.

INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS:
Prospective bidders need not be IDOT pre-qualified and MUST obtain plans and specifications for their use and submission from the Village of Bartlett main office at 228 S. Main Street, Bartlett IL.60103.The municipal complex is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon; a $25.00 non-refundable fee is required. Plans and specifications will be available for pickup Wednesday, October 7, 2015. For answers to any questions you may contact Public Works at 630-837-0811.

All proposals must be accompanied by Bid Bond BLR12230 as provided in the bid packet.

The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids.
